Co-founder and Clinic Director at The Nutrition Clinic
Over the last few years, I have been more aware of changes in my own hormones, and have also noticed that women in their 40s and 50s find themselves dealing with symptoms that they don’t always connect with hormones (hot flash, anyone?!).
I have always believed in the power of knowledge and over the last 10 years, through thousands of client conversations, it became clear — so many women reach 40 and things slowly start shifting.
Energy tanks, bloating and digestion issues arise, weight starts pilling on, sleep gets hard to pin down and brain fog starts getting in the way of your conversations. For some, this is just the start of over 85 symptoms linked to peri-menopause. Women don’t always know where to go for information on this. I feel fortunate to have access to a toolkit, so when I noticed that coffee affected my sleep — something that I never had a problem with earlier — and I was eating the same, but the scale thought differently, I decided to dive into the science of menopause. The result is Stronga. Some of us are away from family, without close support or we may wish for our (peri) menopausal journey to be different than what our mothers went through. It’s time to talk about it. Join our FREE STRONGA newsletter where we de-bunk the myths and give you tools and information to guide you on this wild ride. In wellness, and getting you (safely and happily) to the other side. Pooja
