Fresh or Frozen?
Epidemiological research has found a link between berry consumption and reduced cognitive aging. So is there a difference between fresh and frozen?
There is almost zero difference between fresh and frozen fruit nutritionally. In Singapore, as berries are usually grown a few thousand miles from us we would argue that frozen may be fresher and hold more nutritional value.
Plus frozen means you always have some berries on hand to turn into a shake or have a small handful after dinner if your’e in the mood for something sweet. Where possible choose organic.
